Delete your PickTonight account
How to delete it
- Open PickTonight in the app or on the web, and sign in with your username or email.
- In the Profile tab, open Settings, choose Delete account at the bottom, then Delete my account.
- Type DELETE and enter your password once more (if you sign in with Google or Apple, you confirm with them instead), then tap Delete forever.
This happens immediately and cannot be undone. Want a copy of your data first? On the web app: Settings, then Account, then Export my data (the phone apps cannot save the file yet).
Open PickTonight on the web to sign in from this browser.
What is deleted
- Your profile, username and taste setup
- Ratings, diary and swipes
- Badges, streaks and XP
- Your partner link
- Your memberships — groups, clubs and lists you own pass to their longest-standing member; ones nobody else is in are deleted
What stays
- Comments you posted stay in their threads, shown as “[deleted]”, without your name. Reports you filed stay with our moderators, also without your name — including anything you wrote in them.
- Titles you added to lists, and the topics, polls and nights you started in groups and clubs that carry on, stay there without your name.
- Watches you logged with your partner or a group that others attended, and titles you locked for a group night, stay in their history without your name.
- Notifications other people already received from you stay, without your name. Your partner group is renamed to Partner group, so neither it nor the notifications about it show your name.
- Reports other people filed about you or your posts stay in the moderation queue.
- If a moderator saved a copy of something you posted because it was reported, that copy stays as it was, including who posted it.
- Error reports the app sent automatically are kept for 60 days after they were sent, no longer linked to your account, and then deleted.
Can’t sign in?
Email support@forcevolve.com with your username and ask us to delete your account. We check that the account is yours first, then delete it, normally within one month.
